Individual therapy offers numerous benefits, especially increased self-awareness through exploration and reflection giving individuals a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions and behaviors.

We will guide you on a hike and upon arriving at our destination we will create “sacred spaces” where we will ground ourselves. We will practice a cleansing ritual, journal our intentions, getting in the vibe of our dream lives surrounded by the tranquility of the Montana outdoors!  We are offering New Moon Hikes Monthly to various locations in the beautiful Flathead Valley throughout the summer.

Couples find benefits that help them resolve issues and strengthen relationships. Intimate partners can establish or grow better communication, honesty, and trust, which are the foundations of healthy relationships.

Additionally, couples counseling can help to improve feelings of security in the relationship, increase positive feelings the partners have toward each other, enable couples to cooperate, decrease stress, and provide the couple with tools to overcome future challenges together.

Family counseling focuses on finding solutions for the challenges and complexities that may arise in family life. Family therapy works to improve communication among family members and adjust the dynamics between members of the family that may result in family distress.

Child counseling services seek to look beneath the surface of difficult emotions, behaviors and relationships to help children, adolescents and their families to understand themselves and their problems. Providing a safe space and an empathetic ear while providing tools to bring about change in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Just like adult clients, child clients receive emotional and goal support in their sessions.

We will assist you in developing and practicing wellness habits on a daily basis to attain better physical and mental outcomes.  Wellness practices including social connectiveness, exercise, nutrition, sleep, and mindfulness will be offered on a weekly and individual basis for specific care tailored to personal desired outcomes for optimal wellness.  We want to take you from surviving to thriving.

We recognize that anxiety and depression symptoms are best treated with a wholistic approach tailored to the individual. Using psychotherapy and supporting with the development and maintenance of a self-care routine to include physical movement, healthy eating, adequate sleep, mindfulness, and social connections.

Mindfulness

We teach and guide individuals in learning that you are not your thought patterns. Mindfulness exercises will aid in rebalancing neural networks allowing you to move away from automatic negative thought processes. We teach mindfulness through our group mindfulness hikes connecting you to the natural world and in individual sessions teaching you through best practices to focus on the here and now to reduce emotional and physical symptoms.

Trauma

Sensible Therapy and Wellness therapists utilize various best practice modalities to improve your trauma symptoms.  These modalities include teaching you skills to practice in order to reduce the emotional and physical symptoms you experience, and increase your positive thoughts and views of yourself, others, and the world.

Co-Parenting Counseling

We provide co-parenting counseling that reduces conflict among the parents and help kids cope with stress related to the divorce. Co-parenting therapy is assisting parents to gain an awareness of their children’s experiences, improving communication and conflict resolution skills, and prioritizing the children’s needs.

Families who participate in co-parenting counseling tend to experience less conflict and more positive feelings toward an ex-partner, helping to increase the likelihood of solving issues that benefits everyone.

Relational Connection

We utilize best practice techniques that help strengthen relationships. We can assist in establishing or growing better communication, honesty, trust, and emotional and physical intimacy which are the foundations of healthy relationships.  Relational connection is increased through couples’ counseling and couples’ retreats (In development and will be offered soon).

Functional Wellness

Why is functional wellness important and how does it help?  Functional wellness is developing an integrated person-centered care approach to wellness to reduce the effects of everyday stress on the body through wellness practices. This is supported by providing many opportunities for connection with others as connection reduces risk of death from all illness and creates longevity.  We offer mindfulness practices, sleep hygiene routines, weight wellness support, physical movement support, along with integration of mind, body, and spirit therapy practices in our counseling services.
